Is your child’s school driving your child to succeed in college, discover their passion, and leverage both education and passion into a rewarding career? If not, invest in your child's future by choosing Foundations College Prep!
Foundations College Prep prepares students to succeed in and out of school by developing the skills of innovators, entrepreneurs, and community change agents through rigorous academics, high standards, and the dedication of school staff who truly care.
Not every student learns at the same pace. Unfortunately, many schools squeeze students into a one-size-fits-all learning environment, which leaves behind those who need more support and doesn’t challenge students who are ahead.
Foundations was chosen to partner with Summit Learning Platform, which enables teachers to engage each student where they are:
Empower Struggling Students
Students who are behind are given the resources and attention they need to get back on grade level.
Elevate Advanced Students
Students who are excelling can access advanced material and take challenging electives.
64% of jobs will involve technology by 2025.
Foundations College Prep is a 1:1 device school giving students 24/7 access to learning and the tools to develop their technological skills.
We even have a 3D printer to use within our STEM programming.
With Summit, students take ownership of their learning, just like they will in college. The ability to not only set a goal but build a strategy to achieve it and assess progress are skills required for college persistence and economic success. Foundations students begin practicing these skills in 6th grade.
Our students set daily learning goals and are taught to advocate for their education, their goals, and their needs.
Through Summit and our restorative discipline practices, our students work with teacher mentors to master habits of success, including:
Teachers have 100% insight into each student’s progress and can engage in mentoring to address challenges and successes. Constant monitoring and mentoring ensures no student can fall behind alone or hide in the masses. Teachers are facilitators who support students while giving them the tools to lead their own learning.
